Food security is a major concern for decision-makers in many Arab countries, as it is one of the most important challenges facing the world, including our Arab nation. Despite the availability of natural resources of land, water and human resources, Arab agriculture has not achieved the required increase in food production and the required food security. Therefore, the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development has paid attention to the concept of food security and focused its efforts on bringing the state of Arab food security to levels that achieve social welfare.
