The organization's objectives

The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development aims to contribute to creating and developing links between Arab countries. And coordinating cooperation among them in various fields and agricultural activities, in particular:

  1. Developing the natural and human resources available in the agriculture, fisheries and food sectors, And improving the means and methods of investing them on scientific grounds.

  2. Raising the efficiency of agricultural, plant and animal production and optimal utilization of fish resources, Achieving the desired agricultural integration among Arab countries to achieve Arab food security.

  3. Facilitating the exchange of agricultural and fishery products between Arab countries.

  4. Working to increase agricultural and fish production to achieve self-sufficiency while taking sustainability into account.

  5. Supporting the establishment of agricultural and fisheries projects and industries.

  6. Improving the living standards of workers in the agriculture and fisheries sectors.

  7. Supervising the implementation of programs that address food crises and enhance food security.
