The course aims to enhance the skills of those interested in water, soil, and plant analysis, familiarize them with the latest scientific equipment, their applications, and operating mechanisms, and spread the culture of relying on analysis data to determine appropriate crop compositions in agricultural projects. It also aims to assist graduates of faculties of agriculture and science in establishing analysis projects and laboratories that meet scientific and technical specifications.

The training program includes lectures on soil analysis, determining salinity levels, mapping salt-affected lands, and soil improvement applications.

It also covers modern methods for estimating the chemical properties of plants, the most important nutrients in the soil, heavy metals, how to monitor them and treat their accumulation in the soil, methods of taking soil and water samples and preparing them for analysis according to the requirements of standard analysis methods, the most important modern characterization devices for water, soil, plant and animal production samples, and estimating the concentrations of stable isotopes in groundwater samples.
