On Monday, April 3, 2023, the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development opened the work of the national training course in the field of (establishing cooperative societies, their financing, and the regulations and laws regulating their work) in South Darfur State – the city of Nyala, Kass locality. Which is implemented by the organization in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Pastures and the Sudanese Agricultural Bank, This is within the framework of the livelihood improvement program implemented by the organization in Darfur states, ، With the participation of (16) trainees from the boards of directors of agricultural cooperative societies under the umbrella of the project.

The course, which lasts for four days, aims to introduce (formation of cooperative societies, regulations and laws, association management, bookkeeping, accounts, meetings and financing), with the aim of supporting agricultural women’s associations under the umbrella of the program to improve livelihoods in the states of Darfur, through funding. Agriculture to facilitate the implementation of its various activities in accordance with the foundations, values and principles of cooperation, to ensure the achievement of high productivity in the agricultural sector and to provide the appropriate environment for the growth and prosperity of medium and small investments.
