About us – Organization establishment – Establishment agreement

On March 11, 1970, the Arab League Council approved the establishment of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development in accordance with its Resolution No. (2635), and the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development began its work in 1972 AD from its headquarters in Khartoum, the capital of the Republic of Sudan, and the membership of the organization was completed in In 1980, all Arab countries that are members of the League of Arab States joined it. Since its inception, the organization has worked on developing and coordinating activities related to agricultural development at the national level. It also provides assistance in creating new means and strategies related to the development of these areas in a way that enhances the competitiveness of Arab agricultural products in accessing global markets, achieves Arab agricultural integration, and fulfills the needs of Arab countries for agricultural commodities.
