His Excellency Professor Ibrahim Adam Ahmed Al-Dakhiri, Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, received in his office at the organization’s headquarters in Khartoum on Monday, March 20, 2023 AD, His Excellency Dr. Hassan Makdari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Livestock of the Republic of Sudan, and His Excellency Dr. Yahya bin Amer bin Abdullah Al-Ma’awali, Assistant Director General of Livestock In the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in the Sultanate of Oman, and a representative of the Omani private sector, with the aim of examining the possibility of investing in livestock exports in the Republic of Sudan.
His Excellency the Professor, Director General of the Organization reviewed the large investment opportunities available to Sudan in this field, expressing the readiness of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development to cooperate and facilitate Arab agricultural integration and overcome all investment obstacles by facilitating the meeting and agreement of the responsible authorities in both the Republic of Sudan and the Sultanate of Oman, with the aim of facilitating the flow of agricultural commodities. To contribute to achieving Arab food security, which is the ultimate goal of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development.
