The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) launched on the 21st till the 25th of January 2018, a training course in the field of Food Security (analysis, report writing, strategy preparation) in Jordan. The participants were (12) trainees from various national food security institutions from Jordan, Iraq and Qatar.

The course discussed various aspects and topics related to food security, including terminology and indicators. The course also tackled the relation of food security to sustainable development and economic security. The program also included practical applications on the design of the food security reporting form. Moreover, the course trained the participants on how to write the food security reports, especially in the three countries mentioned above.
