The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) organized a training course in the field of The Training Course in the field of (Closed culture techniques in fresh water), on 14-18 October 2018 in Manama, Bahrain. The participants were 30 trainees working in the Ministry of Works and Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning.

 The course tackled the concept of closed fish culture and its types, water quality elements in fish culture systems, practical applications on water quality control in closed systems, closed fish feeding strategies, fish feed processing technology and fish farm selection methods. The training course also included a number of practical applications related to the installation and manufacture of fish feed, the care of the fish herd inside the closed farm, the health of the fish and methods of diseases diagnosis.
