The Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), H.E Prof Ibrahim Adam El Dukheri, attended the inauguration of the International Youth Innovation Conference under the theme “Positive Youth Roles to Overcome the Challenges of the Future”, which was held in Shenzhen, China, from 12-14 August 2018 in the presence of a number of international and Arab organizations and unions, and representatives of the United Nations and UNIDO.

 In his speech to the International Youth Innovation Conference he said, that AOAD is currently working to encourage agricultural investment and make it an attractive sector for young entrepreneurs. He added that AOAD will enter into a strategic partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

 It is worth mentioning that the United Nations Investment Promotion Office for Industrial Development (UNIDO) launched an Entrepreneurship Center in Shenzhen, China. The launch of the center is part of the ongoing efforts of the Bahrain-based Investment Promotion Office to promote the Arab model Bahrain Business School, which has been transferred to more than 52 countries around the world covering almost all continents of the world.

H.E Prof El Dukheri met with a number of officials, including the President of the Workers' Union and Entrepreneurs in Shenzhen Mr. Chen Daixing, who stressed the importance of launching the center in ShenZhen. The Chinese government seeks to make this city a center of innovation and an investment gateway. H.E Prof El Dukheri also met the Head of the UNIDO office in Bahrain Dr. Hashim Hussein, and the Secretary General of the Federation of Arab Chambers of Commerce Dr. Khalid Hanafi.
