H.E Prof. Ibrahim Adam El Dukhiri, the Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), received at his office at the headquarters of the AOAD in Khartoum, H.E Mr Khalil Al Shamari the Director of Amtar Company on the 21st of December 2017.

H.E Prof. El Dukhiri said that the AOAD will be implementing a number of developmental projects in Mauritania in the field of sustainable agricultural development and modern irrigation systems.

The two sides discussed how to benefit from the practical experiences and technical expertise of both sides in the field of water resources and irrigation systems. H.E Prof El Dukhiri added that he was committed to the Mauritanian president H.E Mr Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, in November 2017 to support Mauritania by all the possibilities available to support the agricultural sector and irrigation systems in Mauritania.
