The Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) H.E Prof. Ibrahim Adam El Dukhiri, said that AOAD works in cooperation with the Arab Agricultural Ministers to contribute to the agricultural sector development. He stressed AOAD's concern to follow up the implementation of all initiatives of the Arab presidents to achieve food security.

 H.E Prof El Dukhiri expressed AOAD's readiness to cooperate with the Sudanese Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to work on increasing the production and productivity. H.E Prof El Dukhiri also revealed a number of initiatives that will enhance the joint Arab activities. This came during his meeting with H.E Dr Abd Al Munim Al Bana the Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, H.E Dr Abd Alatif Ejaimi the Sudanese Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and the Sudanese Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Dr Badr Aldin Alsheikh.

 During the meeting, Sudanese and Egyptian sides exchanged views around the means of boosting the agricultural cooperation between the two countries. They also discussed how to overcome all obstacles to and encourage investment. Adding the importance of cooperating in the fields of capacity building , exchanging experiences and researches in various agricultural fields.
