During a meeting that was held on the 12th of October 2017, at the premises of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, the DG of (AOAD) H.E Prof Ibrahim El Dukhiri, expressed his gratitude and thanks to H.E Mr. Abdelwahab Ahmed El-Bader, DG of (KFAED) for supporting the National Program of "Control Transboundary Epidemiological Animal Diseases", which had an obvious contribution to the successes achieved over two consecutive years.

In the course of the meeting, H.E Prof Al Dukhiri presented documents of various projects prepared by the Organization, to assess the possibility of the Fund's contribution in financing them either fully or partially, according to its priorities and financial regulations.

The National Program for "Control Transboundary Epidemiological Animal Diseases" includes three projects; foot-and-mouth disease, Brucellosis and Rift Valley fever, which are key constraints to intra-Arab trade.
