The Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), H.E Prof Ibrahim Adam El Dukheri signed a memorandum of understanding with the Arab Institute for Training and Statistical Research on the 22nd of April 2018, in Jordan. The signing came during the sidelines of the 35th session of the General Assembly of AOAD. The MOU came within the framework of enhancing cooperation with Arab, regional and international institutions related to agriculture and sustainable environment issues.

 The memorandum constituted a framework for coordination between the two institutions to join efforts and implement joint activities in the fields of agricultural information and statistics and the development of the work of the agricultural census in the Arab countries.
