The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) launched on Sunday the 10th till the 14thof December 2017, a training course on "Modern Technologies in the Field of improvement and maintenance of land". The participants were 20 trainees from the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of Egypt.

The training program included the following methods; modern techniques in land improvement in the Arab countries and the increment of land and water production, the applications of soil conditioners as a mean to control plant diseases and pesticide alternatives, field diagnosis for the lands which are saline-affected and treatment methods, and the determinants of land reclamation and cultivation.
