H.E Prof. Ibrahim El-Dukhiri, DG of the (AOAD), received in his office at the headquarters of the Organization on Wednesday 25/10/2017 H.E Mr Basamba, Ambassador of Mauritania to Sudan.

 H.E Prof. Ibrahim pointed out that the organization aims at contributing and developing ties between the Arab countries and coordination of cooperation among them in various fields and agricultural activities. In particular the AOAD aims at the development of natural and human resources available in the agricultural sector and improving means and ways of investing them on scientific basis.

The two sides also discussed aspects of developing cooperation between AOAD and Mauritania, especially in fields related to agriculture and livestock. Moreover, they discussed the development of the animal sector in Mauritania, where Mauritania has a large livestock wealth. They also discusses other topics such as cooperation in the provision of irrigation equipments.
