The Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), H.E Prof Ibrahim Adam El Dukheri, participated in the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group, which was hosted by Tunisia during the period from 1st to 5th April 2018. H.E Prof El Dukheri participation came as part of his efforts to seek further financial support for AOAD’s programs and activities and to expand its funding partners.

In this context, H.E Prof El Dukheri participated in three events organized on this occasion, which were closely related to AOAD’s fields of work. He also participated with the heads of delegations of Islamic countries and senior officials of regional and international organizations in the symposium "Partnership to Support Innovation and Renovation, and Promote Promising Sectors with High Added Value”.

As well as a symposium on "Strategic Partnerships to Promote Entrepreneurship and Youth Employment", in addition to the symposium "Infrastructure Development in Africa: Opportunities and Challenges."

On the sidelines of these seminars he held meetings with several officials of the Islamic Development Bank. H.E Prof El Dukheri met with Mr. Mustafa AL Waer, the Spokesperson for the Islamic Development Bank and the President Advisor, as well as Mr. Adialo Slif, the Director of Agriculture, in the Islamic Development Bank. All these personalities have welcomed the return of AOAD to this important annual international financial forum.
