The Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), H.E Prof Ibrahim Adam El Dukheri, participated in the annual joint meetings of the Arab financial bodies, which included the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, the Arab Association for Economic Development Investment and Export Credit, Arab Monetary Fund, Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa and Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development. The meetings began on Tuesday, 9th April 2018 in the Dead Sea area of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and lasted for two days.

Such annual meetings of Arab financial institutions represent an important stage in the consultation, exchange of experiences, evaluation of achievements and work to strengthen their role in establishing the foundations of economic integration and joint Arab action, highlighting the role played by Arab financial institutions and funds in financing and supporting economic and social development programs in the Arab region. The regular decisions taken by the financial bodies, the annual plans and the balance sheet were presented and the programs to be implemented by these bodies were approved.
