The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) organized a training course in the field of Rural Development Projects “Measurement Indicators and Sustainability” on 1-5 July 2018 at the premises of AOAD in Khartoum, Sudan. The Director General AOAD H.E Prof. Ibrahim Adam El Dukheri, concluded the course attended the closing day of the course.

The course aimed at developing and qualifying Sudanese cadres in the field of rural development by introducing them to the basic concepts of rural development, the role of agricultural extension in the development of rural programs and projects, the role of non-governmental organizations and obstacles to the sustainability and sustainable development objectives and methodology. Moreover, the course focused on the sustainable development agenda 2030, institutional structures for sustainable development and indicators for measuring sustainable development goals.
