The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) concluded on Thursday, February 28, 2019, the third meeting of the Arab Network for Rural, Bedouin and Coastal Women. The meeting was under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Maram Bint Isa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Consultative Council of the National Initiative for the Development of the Agricultural Sector in Bahrain.

The meeting was part of AOAD activities in the field of women, youth and the development of rural Arab societies in achieving the sustainable development goals. The meeting covered many topics related to sustainable rural development, entrepreneurship and small projects, market analysis skills and resource efficiency, physical and human, risk assessment and management, in addition to the feasibility study of small enterprises.

 It is worth mentioning that the meeting was accompanied by a training course for the benefit of training trainers in the field of Entrepreneurship Development and Training Program and the Establishment of Small and Medium Enterprises in collaboration with the Arab Center for Entrepreneurship of the United Nations Industrial Development (UNIDO) which was held on 24-28 February 2019 with the participation of 15 participants from national coordinators from Jordan, Bahrain, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Iraq, Oman, Palestine, Libya, Egypt and Yemen.
