The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) in cooperation with Dubai Police Headquarters, Zayed International Foundation for the Environment, the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Sudan and the Sudanese-Emirati Friendship Society, celebrated Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan 100th birthday, on Monday the 26th of November 2018 at the Police House in Khartoum, under the theme (Zayed in the eyes of the world) appreciating the role of the late in the fields of agriculture and the environment.

 The celebration was attended by a wide range of participants from the agriculture and environment sectors in Sudan, as well as representatives of the diplomatic missions and international organizations in Sudan and also officials from the public and private sectors.

 The celebration included speeches and poems and a folkloric presentation by the UAE band (Al Tarab al Harbia) and two lectures entitled "The Environmental Heritage of Sheikh Zayed" and "Zayed International Foundation for the Environment".

 The celebration was concluded by honoring Sudanese leaders and personalities working in the field of environment and agriculture. In addition to those who contributed to the field of agriculture and the environment in the Arab world, the Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, the Director General of the Arab Bank for Development in Africa and the President of Zayed International Environment Foundation.
