The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) organized a training course in the field of "Freshwater Aquaculture " during the period from 14-18 / 7/2019 in Jordan. The participants were 17 trainees specialized in the fisheries sector.

The course included a number of themes related to the main pillars of the aquaculture process, species selection, nutrition and feeding of farmed fish, components of fish diets, how to calculate the composition of fish diets, work tasks in fish farms, the most important species of freshwater farmed fish, in addition to a field visit to some fish farms in Jordan.

It should be noted that AOAD had established in early 2014 the Arab Network for Aquaculture, which included in its membership all the Arab countries.
