The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development Director-General inaugurates the national training course on Microfinance and its Impact on developing the Agricultural Sector


The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD), Director-General H.E Prof. Ibrahim El Dukheri, inaugurated the national training course in the field of Microfinance and its Impact on developing the Agricultural Sector organized by AOAD at its headquarters in Khartoum from 15-19 September 2019 for 25 participants from the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Sudan.

The course covered five important topics including general concepts of microfinance and how to prepare projects, in addition to practical training using the computers to create a business plan and feasibility study for projects and methods of microfinance.

H.E Prof. El Dukheri stressed that AOAD is one of the pillars of joint Arab action in agriculture and is concerned with agricultural development issues in the Arab region through its plans and programs to contribute to economic development in the Arab countries through its four regional offices. He added that the course aimed to qualify participants to be able to implement distinctive and successful projects that serve the community and support agricultural production.
