The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) organized a training course on "Use of Telecommunication Systems in Disseminating Information and Agricultural and Fishery Technologies" during the 19th till the 23rd of November 2017 in Sudan. The training course took place at the headquarters of the AOAD. The participants were 22 cadres from the federal ministries of agriculture and forestry, livestock and fisheries and range and the Khartoum State livestock and Irrigation ministries.

 The aim of the course was to raise the efficiency of the cadres working in the field of agricultural extension. Accordingly it provides them with the latest knowledge and developments to manage extension and development, through the use of information and communication technologies.

The training program included practical aspects of the concepts of communication and information technology (opportunities and challenges). In addition, the use of the Internet and means of telecommunication and communication in the dissemination of agricultural and fisheries technologies information.
