HE Prof Ibrahim Adam Ahmed El-Dukhery, Director-General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, visited the office of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development in Dubai on 14/10/2017. He was received by Mr. Mohamed Obaid Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the AAAID. And technicians from both sides.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of integrating the efforts of the two organizations in achieving the issues of sustainable agricultural development, Arab food security and encouraging investment in the agricultural sector in the region. Both sides discussed the cooperation between the two institutions especially in fields related to preparing studies, implementing joint projects, promoting agricultural investment opportunities, and establish statistic and information units for agriculture and fisheries.

. Moreover, the meeting discussed the importance of integrating efforts and strengthen the relations of cooperation in all areas related to its work, implementation of capacity building and skills development programs and activities, and working together to achieve the common objectives of the two institutions as strategic partners in agricultural development and investment issues. This is in addition to participating in activities related to agriculture and agricultural investment.

 In conclusion, Prof El Dukhiry explained the importance of working directly with the member countries according to their development needs and priorities and strengthen the relations of the Organization with the members of the General Assembly of the Organization.
