The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) organized a training course in the field of “Developing Statistical Programs and Agricultural Information" on the 30th of July to the 2nd of August 2018, at the headquarters of the Mashreq Regional Office in Amman, Jordan. The participants were 15 trainees from the national statistics and agricultural information institutions in Jordan.

 The course included topics related to statistics and agricultural information such as: the National Agricultural Information System methods of archiving projects, documents, news and events, training in the skills of using electronic statistical programs, analysis of statistical data using specialized computer programs and applications in the field of agricultural statistics, in addition to other important topics.

 Fifteen participants from the National Statistics and Agricultural Information System in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will benefit from this training. During the course of the course, they will present theoretical and practical presentations, which will address the various aspects of the course program.

 The course is part of the organization's regular training activities, which are currently intensifying at the national, regional or national levels, with a focus on subjects that respond to the wishes and training needs expressed by the Arab countries.
