The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) launched on Sunday the 10th till the 14th of December 2017, a training course on "Communication and its Importance in Agricultural Extension". The participants were 20 agricultural engineers from the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of Egypt.

The training program aimed to develop the knowledge and skills of agricultural engineers related to communication and its importance for agricultural extension. That involved developing their knowledge on the concepts, basics and communication skills of agricultural extension work.

 Moreover, it aimed at raising their awareness on the ways and means of communication and the use of ICT in agricultural extension work. The training program introduced the theory of communication and its models and the importance in guiding the farmers.
