The Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) organized in Manama, on the 3rd till the 7th of December 2017 a training course in the field of Quality Control and Evaluation of Veterinary Laboratories in accordance with ISO 17025/2005. The participants were 25 from the Ministry of Agriculture of Bahrain.

The training course aimed to raise the capacity of the lab technicians on how to apply the international specification (ISO / IEC 17025-2005). It also aimed to acquaint Arab cadres with the administrative and technical requirements of the standard and applying the requirements of (ISO / IEC 17025-2005) for accreditation of laboratories and methods of laboratory evaluation.

 The training program included theoretical lectures and practical applications on (ISO / IEC 17025). Also the administrative and technical requirements for the accreditation of laboratories according to (ISO / IEC 17025-2005) and practical simulation training on internal audit and the application of (ISO / IEC 17025 2005) and how to obtain accreditation in accordance to the international standards and manuals.
