The Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) H.E Prof Ibrahim Adam El Dukheri and H.E the Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security Mr Yerlan A.Baidaulet signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organizations on the sidelines of the Second Session of the General Assembly of the Islamic Food Security Organization, held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, 27-29 / 8/2019, in order to frame the cooperation between them in all that would enhance the food security and nutrition of the Arab and Islamic nations.

 The Memorandum of Understanding includes areas of cooperation between the two organizations in the areas of partnership, information exchange, coordination on food security, nutrition and development issues, organizing training courses, joint conferences and workshops to build the capacity of national and local partners to strengthen agriculture and food security in their member countries, in addition present the practices with regard to the implementation of both organizations’ programs on agriculture, food security, water and energy.
