The Director General of the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) H.E Prof Ibrahim Adam El Dukheri participated in the meeting of the second session of the General Assembly of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS), which was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia during the period 27-29 / 8/2019.

The program included important issues related to the work of the IOFS during the second session of the General Assembly, in addition to the selection of the new President IOFS General Assembly and the election of the Executive Council. Mr Yerlan A. Baidaulet was appointed from the Republic of Kazakhstan to head IOFS as the Director-General

On the sidelines of the event, H.E Prof. El Dukheri held two meetings, during the first meeting he met with the President of the Islamic Development Bank, to discuss the programs and projects that could be implemented within the framework of joint cooperation between the two institutions. During the second the meeting of the General Assembly of the Islamic Food Security Organization, H.E Prof. El Dukheri held a meeting with His Excellency the President of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). H.E Prof. El Dukheri addressed the ministerial meeting expressing the readiness of the AOAD to cooperate fruitfully with the Islamic Food Security Organization
